InSport Project Partners Work to Adapt Sport for Persons with Disabilities

The UNESCO Chair in Inclusive PE Sport Recreation and Fitness IT Tralee hosted the 4th InSport partners project meeting in Tralee, Ireland on May 13-14.

The InSport (Sport Inclusion - Full participation in sport by persons with disabilities) project aims to develop a European model for the inclusion in sport of people with disabilities. The project partners are currently designing support manuals for key stakeholders to better adapt inclusive physical activity practises, as well as develop a curriculum for further training human resources and building capacity.

InSport is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, led by APCAS and joined by TAFISA, Portuguese Institute of Youth and Sport (IPDJ), KC Sport Netherlands, European Paralympic Committee, UNESCO Chair IT Tralee.
