A TAFISA delegation comprised of Secretary General Wolfgang Baumann and Junior Director Jean-Francois Laurent met with the Organising Committee and Ulyanovsk representatives to discuss the organisation of the 1st TAFISA World Martial Arts 2019. Chairman of Ulyanovsk Government Alexander Smekalin, the Deputy Chairman Sergey Kuzmin, Director of Ulcongress Denis Radaev along with Ulcongress's Natalya Aksyonova thus welcomed and met the TAFISA delegation during their 2-day visit to Ulyanovsk, Russia.
The delegation visited the various venues, including the Orion Sport Centre and the Volga Sport Arena. Constructive discussions took place to refine the organisational details, and the 1st TAFISA World Martial Arts Festival, Ulyanovsk, Russia will most likely take place around mid-September 2019. The first letters of invitation will be sent in June this year. TAFISA would like to once again thank Ulyanovsk representatives for their hospitality and warm welcome.
