Oaks has just released the second edition of their Fundraising in Sport for Development: State of the Sector Report, in partnership with Laureus Sport for Good, Beyond Sport, streetfootballworld, and the International Platform on Sport and Development. 

Since 2021, TAFISA Member International Fistball Association (IFA) celebrates its birthday on 30 January as World Fistball Day with activities and initiatives to promote the sport of Fistball.

Held on 26 January 2022, the INTERACT Opening Conference was an astounding success, generating lively debates between the participants and speakers. More than 340 participants from 86 countries registered.

TAFISA National Member from Brazil Sesc has reopened its centres in São Paulo State in December 2021 and resumed its institutional services, including sports and physical activity courses. 

The INTERACT (International and European Sport Organisations Activate Citizens) Project Team is proud to announce the launch of a new campaign - "ISO of the Month". Every month, the campaign highlights one International Sport Organisation and features a video interview that showcases their vision for Sport for All and their work in the field.

On Wednesday 15 December, TAFISA was privileged to participate in a seminar organised by the Knowledge Centre for Sport and Physical Activity as part of NL Sports Week at ExpoDubai. The event was held in the most sustainable pavilion of the ExpoDubai and live streamed through the Virtual DutchDubai YouTube channel. The session focused on the importance of sport and physical activity in the lives of women and girls.

On Wednesday 15 December, TAFISA hosted a Female Leaders of Tomorrow (FLOT) family catch-up which brought together the mentees, mentors and partners to discuss the progress of the project and expectations for the remainder of the project. In October this year the European Commission granted FLOT a seven month extension so the project will continue until 31 July 2022.

On 14 December, the online Workshop “Leveraging Sport for All to Tackle the Climate Crisis” was hosted in partnership with Sport and Citizenship. 315 participants from all over the world registered for this fifth event of the TAFISA Mission 2030 Workshop Series, the last one in 2021. 

On 7 December TAFISA was invited to participate during the hybrid Conference on Integrity in Sport, organised by the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS) of the Council of Europe and the Italian Department for Sports within the framework of the Italian Chairmanship of the Council of Europe.
