Check out the FLOT Mentee’s Projects!

The Female Leaders of Tomorrow (FLOT) Mentees have been working hard over the past seven months to bring together their learnings and experiences to design their very own individual projects relating to Sport for All. The mentees had the option to undertake their project individually or as a joint effort with their co-mentee within their trio, with the guidance and support of their mentor.

The mentees were asked to design a project that was important to them and submit a project proposal which was reviewed by TAFISA and the FLOT project partners.

The project management aspect of the FLOT project is fundamental in providing the mentees with practical experience by offering an opportunity to develop an initiative to better the Sport for All Movement within their own setting. It is also an opportunity for cross-cultural and international exchange with mentees from Europe and Africa working together to create a better world through Sport for All.

The mentees are continuing to work hard and support one another, even with the absence of mobilities so far in the project due to the ongoing pandemic. Lifetime friendships have been formed and they are well on their way to becoming the next generation of women leaders in Sport for All.

The mentees will present their project during the postponed 27th TAFISA World Congress which will now be taking place from 8th to 12th June 2022 in Portorož, Slovenia.
