First Bid Received for 8th TAFISA World Sport for All Games 2024

TAFISA has received the first official bid to host the 8th TAFISA World Sport for All Games which will take place in 2024. In line with bidding guidelines, a pre-contact has now been signed between TAFISA and the bidding organisation, the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC).  The ROC has bid to host the 2024 TAFISA World Sport for All Games in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod.

The contract was signed by ROC President Stanislav Pozdnyakov, ROC Secretary General Vladimir Sengleev, TAFISA President Ju-Ho Chang, TAFISA Treasurer Herzel Hagay and TAFISA Secretary General Wolfgang Baumann.  This contract will only be effective if the ROC is elected as the Games’ host.  The election will take place during the TAFISA General Assembly on 15 November 2019 in Tokyo, Japan.
 
The application process to host the 2024 TAFISA Sport for All Games remains open, and interested member organisations can forward their candidacy to TAFISA up until 15 August 2019.
