InSport Partners Meeting held in Sportclub "Only Friends" in Amsterdam, Netherlands

On 16-17 January, InSport project partners met in the unique inclusive stadium of Sportclub "Only Friends" in Amsterdam, Netherlands to refine the project's results and discuss InSport's future and legacy as the 2.5-year project is set to conclude on 31 June 2020. TAFISA Project Manager Gaëtan Garcia joined the other project partners to exchange on the development of guidelines for inclusion across Europe. 

A project co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, InSport aims to develop a European model for inclusion of persons with disabilities in and through sport, provide relevant stakeholders with tools and guidebooks to implement this vision of inclusion across different levels and sectors (health, education, sport clubs and municipalities) and offer online resources and training to professionals, volunteers, coaches and anyone with an interest to develop more inclusive practices. 

The project's results and achievements will be presented during a final conference hosted in June in Ireland.

InSport is led by Association of Cerebral Palsy of Almada Seixal (APCAS) with the contribution of project partners European Paralympic Committee, UNESCO Chair "Transforming the Lives of People with Disabilities, their Families and Communitites through Physical Education, Sport, Recreation and Fitness" IT Tralee, Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth, Knowledge Centre for Sport Netherlands and TAFISA.
