We invite applications from dedicated TAFISA members that share our vision for creating positive and safe coaching environments for girls! Selected organization will receive up to US$10,000 aimed at supporting the implementation of safe coaching practices and projects within their communities.
Introduction & Project Overview
The Girls Positive and Safe Coaching Pathway is a global initiative aimed at empowering girls and young women through positive and safe coaching practices, addressing key issues related to gender equity in sports. The program provides training and development opportunities for coaches, trainers, and sports professionals to create safe, inclusive, and supportive environments for girls in sports. Through the Training of Trainers (ToT) program, organizations gain access to expert-led training materials, toolkits, and ongoing support to implement these practices within their local communities.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications are open exclusively to TAFISA members. We are seeking applications from organizations who meet the following criteria:
Application Requirements
To apply for the grant, please complete the Application Form (online). The online form will ask for general information about your organization, motivation to participate, and strategies for ensuring program success and sustainability.
As part of the application form, you are also required to attach a delivery plan that outlines how your organization will implement the Pathway. This should include workshop planning, trainer selection, recruitment and outreach strategies, timeline, and sustainability efforts. Grant allocation will be determined based on the strength of the participant’s project proposal, the expected community impact, and the need for resources.
Submission Process
Applications should be submitted by 5 December 17:00 CET. The TAFISA office will confirm receipt of all applications that are completed in full. Incomplete applications will not be considered. For any inquiries, please contact kim@tafisa.org.
