On 4 November, the INTERACT+ Auditor Training, hosted by Rachel Mait, Project Impact Manager, TAFISA, and Fernando Parente, Director of the Healthy Campus and Sport for All Department, FISU successfully trained a group of auditors to support the Sport for All Label Certification.
The training equipped auditors with the knowledge and tools required to assess sport federations applying for certification, ensuring the process remains consistent, transparent, and aligned with the project's standards of quality and inclusivity.
The Sport for All Label Certification enables international and national sport federations to measure, evaluate, and continuously improve their Sport for All offerings. The dashboard provides federations with a clear overview of their progress and impact and allows them to apply for a Sport for All Label. Through a streamlined and user-friendly process, applicants can achieve one of five recognition levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond, each representing a stage in their commitment to inclusivity and excellence in sport.
During the training, auditors learned how to apply the certification's evaluation framework, review criteria, and utilize the digital dashboard to assess applicants effectively. They also explored how the certification supports federations in identifying strengths and opportunities for development, helping them advance their Sport for All strategies in a measurable and structured way.
By preparing qualified auditors through the INTERACT+ program, TAFISA and FISU ensures that the Sport for All Label Certification maintains its credibility, impact, and sustainability as a global standard for inclusive sport development.
