Collaboration between researchers, practitioners, and policymakers is essential to advancing Sport for All initiatives by ensuring that academic insights, real-world implementation, and policy frameworks align to drive meaningful, sustainable impact. When these three sectors work together, they can foster innovation, enhance program effectiveness, and shape evidence-based policies that support future initiatives. However, forging and maintaining these partnerships can be challenging due to differences in priorities, communication styles, and institutional structures. While researchers focus on generating knowledge and evidence-based solutions, practitioners emphasise implementation and community engagement, and policymakers must develop and enforce regulations that create an enabling environment. By fostering stronger connections between academia, practice, and policy, Sport for All initiatives can become more inclusive, impactful, and scalable.
This webinar will explore how researchers, practitioners, and policymakers can collaborate effectively to enhance Sport for All initiatives. Through real-world case studies, expert insights, and interactive discussions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of successful collaboration models and practical strategies for building and sustaining partnerships. The session will highlight common challenges and opportunities, offering guidance on how to align research with practical needs, inform policy with scientific evidence, and foster effective communication that leads to partnerships that meet the needs of all participating organisations.
The 90-minute program will bring together experts and professionals. It aims to enlighten, encourage action, and share best practices.
