TAFISA - The Association For International Sport for All

The TAFISA Knowledge Exchange Commission (KEC) is a dynamic workgroup established to foster global collaboration among experts, practitioners, and organizational leaders in the Sport for All movement. Launched in 2024, the KEC serves as a platform for exchanging ideas, best practices, and innovative solutions to advance physical activity and sport participation worldwide.

Through regular meetings and initiatives, the KEC strengthens international networks, fosters research collaboration, and enhances the scientific foundation of Sport for All initiatives. By fostering knowledge exchange and cooperation, the commission plays a key role in fulfilling TAFISA's mission of creating a more active and healthy world for all.

Main objectives of the KEC include:

  • Disseminating the latest research through TAFISA events and communications.
  • Encouraging a research-driven culture among TAFISA members and the wider Sport for All community.
  • Bridging the gap between research and practice by providing training and knowledge translation support.
  • Expanding TAFISA's visibility among researchers and fostering greater engagement.
Committed to advancing the Sport for All movement, the KEC leverages evidence-based strategies and global collaboration to bridge research and practice, strengthening the scientific foundation of Sport for All. Below is the current composition of the KEC:
