On 5 September, the TAFISA Knowledge Exchange Commission (KEC) held its latest meeting, bringing together members from around the world to share progress and plan next steps. Key updates included the ongoing reconstruction of the TAFISA Knowledge Corner on the new website and preparations for the joint TAFISA and ISPAH webinar scheduled for April 2026.
The KEC subgroups outlined their goals for the next six months, aiming to deliver valuable resources for the TAFISA and Sport for All community. They will also play an important role at the TAFISA World Congress in Prague (May 2026), coordinating the review of abstracts and contributing to the development of the program. The meeting also featured research presentations by Marloes de Brabandere on Fitfluencers and the IOC team on knowledge exchange resources.
Knowledge exchange plays a vital role in TAFISA's mission to make sport and physical activity more accessible, sustainable, and impactful worldwide. The KEC embodies this commitment by bringing together researchers and experts to share insights, strengthen networks, and shape the future of the sector.
