TAFISA Europe is an active, informal platform acting as TAFISA’s official European regional body since 2011. TAFISA Europe is governed by a set of adopted guidelines, and its primary objectives are to:
TAFISA Europe supports and promotes TAFISA activities in the region, as well as implements its own activities, including cooperation with the European Commission.
The 1st TAFISA Europe Conference on “Take Back Your Streets… Take Back Your Future!” was held on September 16th to 18th, 2016 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, hosted by the National Olympic Committee of Slovenia and the Sport Union of Slovenia.
The 2nd TAFISA Europe Conference was held on August 7th, 2018 in Heerenveen, Netherlands, hosted by Knowledge Centre for Sport Netherlands and Sport Fryslân. It focused on themes such as Traditional Sports and Games and Play, and was hosted within the scope of the 1st TAFISA European Sport for All Games.
Upcoming Events:
The 1st TAFISA European Sport for All Games were held in Leeuwarden, Friesland, Netherlands, from 3rd to 7th August 2018, welcoming delegations from across Europe to demonstrate and compete in their traditional sport or game. For more information, please see www.esfag2018.eu.
TAFISA Europe supports TAFISA in many projects co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission.

TAFISA Europe’s members are all European members of TAFISA, affording members to benefit from the services of both TAFISA and TAFISA Europe. TAFISA Europe is chaired by a Steering Committee elected every four years during a TAFISA Europe Members Meeting. Members Meetings are held at least annually.
