The FLOT Project Partners are delighted to take this opportunity to announce the successful candidates who have been carefully chosen to become the Female Sport for All Leaders of Tomorrow!
After a stringent recruitment process, 20 women from 13 countries in Africa and Europe have been selected to undertake a mentee position in the Female Leaders of Tomorrow (FLOT) project which is co-funded by the European Commission.
Through a comprehensive mobility and mentoring programme, the mentees will be equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, experience and guidance to lead the Global Sport for All Movement. FLOT has been designed to strengthen the mentees\' employability and enhance their personal and professional development through nonformal education and time spent in foreign countries.
The mentees will be guided by their mentors who have been recruited based on their vast knowledge, experiences, and successes across the Global Sport for All Movement. The 11 mentors, from 7 countries in Africa and Europe, are all responsible for providing tailored mentorship to 1 African and 1 European mentee who they have been matched with to creating 9 mentoring trios and 1 mentoring quad.
FLOT is possible thanks to a cooperation between TAFISA, African Union Sport Council Region 5 (AUSC Region 5), European Network of Sport Education (ENSE) and Olympic Committee of Slovenia Association of Sports Federations (OCS-ASF).
The project partners are proud to announce the FLOT mentors and mentees here for the very first time.
