Death of Isaac Braz

We are extremely saddened to learn of the passing of former Judge Isaac Braz, at the age of 95.

Head of the Sport for All department in Israel from 1965 to 2002, as well as Founder and Deputy Chairman of Israel Sport for All Association since 1981, Isaac Braz was a leading figure of the Sport for All Movement in Israel and internationally.

He was one of the founders of ASFAA and TAFISA, becoming TAFISA Vice-President in 1991 and organising the TAFISA World Walking Day with 20 million participants across 54 countries worldwide. In 2009, Isaac Braz received the title of Honorary Member of TAFISA. He was also a Member of the Israel Olympic Committee.

Isaac Braz's contribution to TAFISA and the Global Sport for All Movement has been invaluable, supporting their growth and development over the years. 

TAFISA offers its deepest sympathy and condolences to his family and friends.
