TAFISA extends its warmest congratulations to the Romanian Sport for All Federation (FRSPT), an esteemed member, on being awarded the "Most Active Federation" at the BeActive Gala held on 10 December 2025.

The BeActive Gala, organized by Romania's National Sports Agency, marked the 10th anniversary of the BeActive initiative and celebrated individuals and organizations championing active and healthy lifestyles nationwide. The 2025 anniversary edition of #BeActive, which took place between 1 September and 15 October, recorded a participation high, with more than 500 events delivered across the country officially reported, and over 120,000 participants engaged. Activities reached children, youth, adults, seniors, and people with disabilities, underscoring the campaign's inclusive approach to sport, health, and movement.

FRSPT received the award for Most Active Federation, recognizing FRSPT's consistent and impactful contribution to promoting physical activity and Sport for All, particularly through large-scale participation initiatives and the implementation of European values at the grassroots level.

The Romanian Sport for All Federation (FRSPT) is the national umbrella organization dedicated to promoting physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and social inclusion through Sport for All in Romania. works closely with local authorities, schools, NGOs, sports clubs, and community organizations, coordinating a wide network of county and municipal Sport for All associations across the country. Their activities target children and youth, families, adults, older people, and vulnerable groups, with a strong focus on grassroots participation.

"The award for Most Active Federation reaffirms that grassroots work, when driven by commitment and vision, can achieve meaningful impact," said Natalia Iavin, General Secretary of the Romanian Sport for All Federation.

Looking ahead, FRSPT aims to further expand its impact by strengthening community-based sport programs and increasing participation across all age groups. They plan to:

  • Develop and implement new Erasmus+ Sport projects focused on inclusion, sustainability, and active lifestyles
  • Strengthen volunteering structures and youth engagement in Sport for All
  • Expand partnerships at the European level to exchange good practices and innovative methodologies
  • Continue supporting national and local #BeActive initiatives with a strong focus on accessibility and diversity
