On 27-28 February, IWG on Women in Sport Secretary General Lisa O'Keefe and Strategic Communications Manager Abby Burton met with the TAFISA team in Frankfurt, Germany. Facilitated by TAFISA Senior Manager and IWG Global Executive Member Game Mothibi, the meetings were also joined by TAFISA President Wolfgang Baumann and Secretary General Jean-François Laurent, and provided opportunities to look at shared objectives highlighted by TAFISA's Mission 2030 and IWG's 2022-2026 Strategic Plan to explore synergies and potential areas for cooperation in the run-up to the 2026 IWG Conference in Birmingham.

TAFISA has enjoyed multiples partnerships with IWG chairs over the past 10 years to tackle issues related to Gender Equality and Sport for All. The International Working Group (IWG) is a wide-ranging network of people dedicated to working on a daily basis to push back gender inequalities in sport and to promote physical education and activity. The current IWG Secretariat is hosted by the United Kingdom (2022-2026).
