TAFISA recently held a training session for Certified Leadership Course (CLC) facilitators, bringing together 16 dedicated Sport for All leaders from various countries, including South Africa, Australia, Botswana, Malawi, Eswatini, Germany, Slovenia, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Kenya, and Rwanda.

A diverse group of regional facilitators came together to engage in specialised training aimed at enhancing their abilities to effectively deliver CLC Level 1 and Level 2 training sessions across their respective regions.

The training is designed to motivate facilitators to empower sports and community leaders to lead inclusive initiatives focused on community engagement, which is in line with the values of Sport for All. The goal is to create a supportive learning environment where best practices can be shared and implemented. Additionally, this training built a strong global network of changemakers, creating a pool of committed facilitators ready to offer TAFISA’s CLC programs and support the broader capacity-building efforts of SUCCEED partners worldwide.

Ultimately, the aim is to promote local initiatives that inspire meaningful change and create opportunities for everyone to participate in active, healthy, and inclusive communities through sports

Congratulations to the inspiring cohort of facilitators!
