On 26 June, TAFISA kicked off the new cycle of its Mission 2030 Webinar Series with a first event on “Capacity Building in Sport for All – Are We Reaching Our Goals?”.  With 600 registrations from over 112 countries around the world, the event provided a platform for discussions around the topic and set the stage to announce the launch of the SUCCEED initiative

We are thrilled to share the latest progress on the Girls Positive and Safe Coaching Pathway, led by TAFISA in cooperation with Nike. The project is in full swing and making significant strides!

In collaboration with the IOC through the Olympism365 strategy, TAFISA is proud to introduce SUCCEED – Supporting Communities Empowerment & Development through Sport for All.

On 18 June, the second virtual partners meeting of the EU-funded KESCAB Online Hub project took place. Partners presented project progress, updates and reviewed and discussed the project agenda and upcoming tasks. 

On 14 May, TAFISA Vice-President (Africa) Keenese Katisenge-Tizhani was announced as one of the 18 recipients of the Anita White Fund, which aims to support female leaders in sport around the world. She received the Anita White Catalyst Grant, which is part of The Anita White Fund.

TAFISA members are invited to join Summer School in Nancy, France from 23 to 25 October 2024! The «Health Promoting Sports Clubs Summer School» is designed for PhD students, early and mid-career professionals, including researchers and policy-makers, and postgraduate students working in the field of health or sport, with a specific attention to link the two fields.

On 28 - 30 May, the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Sport (EPAS), a body of the Council of Europe, held its annual plenary meetings of the Governing Board and Consultative Committee in Strasbourg.
