Sport Amidst International Crises: TAFISA Shares Insights at DIGISUSTAIN

On 30 April, TAFISA President Wolfgang Baumann was invited to DIGISUSTAIN to speak at a panel on “Sport in the context of international crises” as part of the “Sport X Sustainability” stage. Moderated by Dr Axel Poth (Dentons), the panel was joined by Sylvia Schenk (Transparency International, EURO24) and Dario Minden (Unsere Kurve e.V.) to discuss on potential of sport to unify and promote peace as well as how it connects and interacts with politics.

Held on 29-30 April in Frankfurt, Germany, DIGISUSTAIN is an international conference aiming to connect people, industries, and companies to network and exchange on the topic of sustainability to enhance their positive impact. This year’s conference featured 17 stages, named after the 17 UN SDGs, bringing together perspectives from all sectors to tackle current sustainability challenges.
