TAFISA and TAMHASO are proud to announce their collaboration in which they will promote active, healthy lifestyles through Sport for All.  A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on February 26th, 2021 in Seoul, Korea, to signify this exciting partnership. The missions and objectives of TAFISA and TAMHASO have clear synergies.

The second cohort of participants in the Sport Event Management Course successfully graduated after attending the 10-day programme between 22 February – 3 March. Congratulations to them!

Join our online Workshop on Gender Equity held on 8 March, in partnership with the ITTF Foundation.

On Friday 12^th February TAFISA hosted the fourth Europe in Action project partner meeting via Zoom, bringing together all nine project partners for the first time in 2021! This was an exciting opportunity to discuss the progress of the project so far as well as map out key milestones for the year ahead.

TAFISA and the Liverpool John Moores University intensify their cooperation in the field of Active City Advocacy and have appointed a coordinator, John Marsden – who is also TAFISA’s appointed Commissioner for Active Cities since 2018, who will be based at LJMU's Physical Activity Exchange.

On 3 February, UNESCO launched new publications building a strong case for the importance of Quality Physical Education (QPE): 

On 2 February, TAFISA took part in the online kick-off meeting for the co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission project “Sport and Physical Activity in Cultural Heritage Environments - SPACHE”.

On the 2nd of February 2021 the Programme and Organising Committees of the 27^th TAFISA World Congress that will be held in Portorož, Slovenia (6-10 October 2021), met to discuss the state of the Congress. During the meetings, members of both committees shared their thoughts on the Congress' concept, programme and organisation. 

The 28^th TAFISA World Congress 2023 will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany, and its Organising Committee has been officially constituted during a kick-off meeting on 27^th January 2021.
