Frankfurt Mayor and Treasurer Receives TAFISA Friend for Life Award

TAFISA is honoured to announce that Frankfurt Mayor and Treasurer Uwe Becker was presented the TAFISA Friend for Life Award for his strong commitment to support TAFISA and promote Sport for All. He can be considered a key figure for the establishment of the TAFISA headquarters in Frankfurt through the moral and financial support of his city.

The Sports Faculty of the University of Leipzig is offering coaches and physical education teachers from developing countries 5-month courses in four alternating specialisations and languages (English, Spanish, French, Arabic).

Who can apply?

Participants up to 40 years, with completed higher education in the field of sports and who have practical experience as athletes or physical education teachers/coaches.  

First Bid Received for 8th TAFISA World Sport for All Games 2024

TAFISA has received the first official bid to host the 8th TAFISA World Sport for All Games which will take place in 2024. In line with bidding guidelines, a pre-contact has now been signed between TAFISA and the bidding organisation, the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC).  The ROC has bid to host the 2024 TAFISA World Sport for All Games in the Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod.
